Questions about Product Demo Animation
Do you need access to our actual product to animate it?
No. We work from screenshots, screen recordings, Figma files, or any visual reference you can share. We recreate your UI in After Effects to the level of fidelity needed for the video. You don't need to give us a product login.
What if our product UI is changing during production?
This is common, especially with early-stage products. We lock the screens we're animating at the storyboard stage and note any changes. Minor UI tweaks after that point are accommodated within revision rounds. Major interface redesigns during production are treated as scope changes.
How long should a product demo video be?
For website hero sections and cold audiences, 60–90 seconds is the sweet spot — long enough to tell a coherent story, short enough that people actually watch it. For sales demos sent post-meeting, 2–3 minutes works well. Investor demos run 2–4 minutes depending on product complexity.
Can you animate our mobile app?
Yes. We animate mobile UI at phone resolution and can show it in a device frame or as a standalone screen. Portrait orientation is the default for mobile apps. We can produce both portrait and landscape versions if needed.
Can the video be used as an in-app onboarding tour?
Yes. The final MP4 can be embedded in an in-app modal, a welcome screen, or any video player within your product. If you need interactive onboarding (clickable hotspots, branching paths), that's a different kind of deliverable — ask us about interactive animation.
Do you produce Lottie animations for web use?
Yes, for product animations that need to run natively in the browser without a video file, we can export Lottie JSON files. This is relevant for loading screens, micro-interactions, and onboarding illustrations. Lottie projects are scoped separately from standard video production.
What information do you need from us to start?
Product screenshots or screen recordings, your Figma or design files if available, a brief on what the video needs to achieve (who watches it, where it lives, what decision it's meant to drive), and your brand assets. A 50% deposit locks your production slot.
